ORMB 2.2.1 SP1 is released ... some extra install notes
Before I installed this patch, The Base Product is at the following levels : ORMB 2.2.1 with FW 2.2.0 SP3.
Before doing the upgrade, good standard practices should be to backup the application server folder as well as performing a full backup of the database.
In order to upgrade to ORMB V2.2.1.1 (SP1) the following needs to be applied to the Base ORMB Application:
1) FW Pre requisites FW SP6 patch #9322470 (This is a SQL only patch, known as the “V1SP1 patch”)
2) FW SP6 patch #9042811
3) Additional post SP6 FW single fixed patches: patch #9073699 and patch #9114541 in this order.
(For patch #9114541 you will need to install the patch mentioned in my previous blog on installing OUBI 2.2.1 SP1
here are the details:
i) Install FW SF patch #8845615 , as part of this patch a co-req 9032599 has a SQL portion.
ii) Install FW SF patch #9014351
iii) Install FW SF patch #9069631
iv) and finally FW SF patch #8793321.)
4) 3rd Party Upgrade of Hibernate 3.2.5 to 3.2.7 (See Appendix B in the Upgrade Guide)
5) and Finally : ORMB 2.2.1 SP1 patch (patch AIX #9362934,Window #9362920,Linux #9362944)
In Order to Upgrade the Database for ORMB to get to the ORMB V2.2.1.1 (SP1) level the following needs to be applied to the database:
(please note a sample Database dump has been provided at this latest release level for Oracle 11g)
1) FW Pre requisites FW SP6 patch #9322470 (This is a SQL only patch, known as the “V1SP1 patch”)
2) FW SP6 patch #9042811 (SQL portion)
3) Additional FW single fixed patch #9073699 and patch #9114541 in this order (no SQL in these patches other than co-req 9032599 SQL portion.)
4) ORMB 2.2.1 SP1 patch (SQL portion) (patch AIX #9362934,Window #9362920,Linux #9362944)

OUBI 2.2.1 SP1 is released ... some install notes
Before I installed this patch, I had already installed FW 2.2.0 SP6 in the environment. So when putting in the OUBI 2.2.1 service pack, a few FW patches are required that are post FW 2.2.0 SP6.
Here is the list and order that I installed the list of FW Single Fixes :
1) Install FW SF patch #8845615 , as part of this patch a co-req 9032599 has a SQL portion.
2) Install FW SF patch #9014351
3) Install FW SF patch #9069631
4) and finally FW SF patch #8793321.
Then you will be able to install the OUBI 2.2.1 SP1. Please note there are SPLADM and DWADM schema changes in the SQL portion.
If you only have a demo database installed only i.e. no BIREPOWN schema , you may have an issue with th following grant statement in SQL patch 8422565 with sql script file 8422565_RS2.sql. The statement is :
GRANT SELECT ON BIREPOWN.WB_RT_AUDIT TO DWADM
ETM 2.2.0 CR for Single Fixes Up to January 2010 Patch # 9371547
To install the latest and greated Demo Database with the latest ETM 2.2.0 Environment level, I installed the demo dump called Build 11 (Patch # 9219548)
and then in the database ran the FW 2.2.0 SP6 Database portion and the database portion for the CR patch #9371547. The Demo dump was released at ETM 2.2.0 SP1 FW 2.2.0 SP5.
The demo database includes includes additional date entries in the accounting calendar and filing calendars up to the end of 2011.

Useful Conversion and Report Script to create users
Once you have created a staging owner (STGADM), application user (STGUSER) and read access user (STGREAD), install the initial database option in the staging schema.
So to sum-up steps are :
1) Create the STGADM / STGUSER and STGREAD users
2) Initial Database load from blueprint (remember need to do FW, SP1, SP6 and then CCB)
3) Run the new Conversion.bat which calls ConvSetup.exe
For the first step, create the users, there is no sample script provided with CCB. Here is a sample script. (Essentially it is a copy of the the sql called CreateCDXUsers.Sql)
CREATE USER STGADM IDENTIFIED BY STGADM DEFAULT TABLESPACE CISTS_01TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
CREATE ROLE STG_READ;
CREATE ROLE STG_USER;
GRANT UNLIMITED TABLESPACE TO STGADM WITH ADMIN OPTION;
GRANT SELECT ANY TABLE TO STGADM;
GRANT CREATE DATABASE LINK TO STGADM;
GRANT CONNECT TO STGADM;
GRANT RESOURCE TO STGADM;
GRANT CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM TO "STGADM";
GRANT CREATE TRIGGER TO "STGADM";
GRANT DROP ANY SYNONYM TO "STGADM";
GRANT CREATE ANY SYNONYM TO "STGADM";
GRANT SELECT ANY DICTIONARY TO STGADM;
Grant grant any role , grant any privilege , select any table , create any synonym , drop any synonym ,execute any procedure to STGADM with admin option;
GRANT SELECT ANY DICTIONARY TO STGADM;
GRANT DBA to STGADM;
CREATE USER STGUSER PROFILE DEFAULT IDENTIFIED BY STGUSER DEFAULT TABLESPACE CISTS_01 TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMPACCOUNT UNLOCK;
GRANT SELECT ANY TABLE TO STGUSER;
GRANT STG_USER TO STGUSER;
GRANT STG_READ TO STGUSER;
GRANT CONNECT TO STGUSER;
CREATE USER STGREAD IDENTIFIED BY STGREAD DEFAULT TABLESPACE CISTS_01 TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
GRANT SELECT ANY TABLE TO STGREAD;
GRANT STG_READ TO STGREAD;
GRANT CONNECT TO STGREAD;
For Reporting (i.e. interface with BI Publisher or Crystal Business Objects) I have created a similar one as well:
(the last two statement may give errors if the objects are not present in the database)
Create user RPTUSER Identified by RPTUSER
default tablespace cists_01 temporary tablespace temp;
Grant connect to RPTUSER;
GRANT CIS_READ TO RPTUSER;
grant create procedure to rptuser;
grant execute on cisadm.cr_package to rptuser;
grant execute on cisadm.CISAINFO to rptuser;
